Students Speak Out gives college students and their state governments a forum to come together, interact, and discuss the barriers learners face and state efforts that support students, with a goal of transforming local impact into national change.

In September 2026, TSC’s national action days will call on students to unite and speak out at their state capitols in 10 states across the country. Building on the momentum we witness at our annual DC Student Summit, we want students to take to their statehouses, meet directly with lawmakers, share stories, and press for policies that strengthen access to higher education.
