Kristin D. Hultquist is a nationally-renowned expert in higher education policy and strategy development. Kristin‘s 30-year career includes work at the federal and state levels, where she focuses on policies that improve opportunity and economic mobility, particularly for first generation students like herself. Kristin currently chairs the Board of Trustees for Metropolitan State University in Denver, Colorado, the largest Hispanic-Serving Institution in the state. She co-founded HCM Strategists in 2008 because she believes in the power of policy solutions that integrate effective storytelling, rigorous analysis, sharp insights and politically sensitive strategy.
